META
Abstract
(U) The goal of the META program is to develop novel design flows, tools, processes, and architectures to enable a significant improvement in the ability to design complex defense and aerospace systems. The program will culminate in the development and demonstration of an aircraft, ground, or naval vehicle of substantial complexity with a reduction in design, integration, manufacturing, and verification level of effort and schedule compression by a factor of five over conventional status quo approach. Likely transition partners will be the platform acquisition components of all three Services and the systems engineering community.
