Soldier System Interfaces & Integration (Sensor Advanced Technology)

Abstract

This effort will integrate battlefield and body-worn sensors and mature data fusion algorithms to provide the dismounted Small Unit leader with clear, actionable information to make well informed, rapid, tactical decisions. This effort will mature and integrate advanced dismounted Soldier robotic and autonomous systems technologies to demonstrate autonomous navigation, manned-unmanned teaming, and networked reconnaissance to improve Soldier lethality, situational awareness, and survivability during tactical operations.
