Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR)/Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR)
Abstract
Each year, 3.2% of SCO's extramural R&D budget is transferred to the Department's SBIR program to fund small businesses through the SBIR program. An additional 0.45% of SCO's extramural R&D budget is transferred for the STTR program. This project is a placeholder for the budget prior to transfer, based upon SCO's estimated share of extramural research and development. FY 2022 was already reduced to transfer 20.964 million to the SBIR/STTR programs.
