KC-135s
Abstract
KC-135 CNS/ATM (Block 45) program - Block 45 addresses obsolescence and reliability and maintainability issues currently experienced by the KC-135 fleet. Funding supports a modification program performing analysis, testing, software development, prototyping, documenting source-data, and integration of a new Digital Flight Director (DFD), Radar Altimeter (RA), Autopilot (AP) and Electronic Engine Instrument Displays (EEID). BA7- This program is in Budget Activity 7, Operational System Development because this budget activity includes development efforts to upgrade systems that have been fielded or have received approval for full rate production and anticipate production funding in the current or subsequent fiscal year.
