Unmanned Systems Communications Interoperability (USCI) (Navy)

Abstract

Test a system for allowing independently developed unmanned vehicles and control systems to exchange information in a multi-domain, multi-vendor environment. This project will test a universal data translator to substantially reduce the time, cost and risk to integrate, test, and evaluate multi-system combinations using both new and existing equipment from any vendor. The primary output is system integration using a product rather than a service, allowing more systems to share information and command and control in an interoperable environment.
