NAVAIR Environmental Compliance
Abstract
This continuing project supports environmental compliance, conservation and pollution prevention related efforts at the Navy Major Range and Test Facility Base (MRTFB) located at Patuxent River, MD, China Lake, CA, Point Mugu, CA, and Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC), Bahamas. The Navy MRTFB environmental projects include ongoing efforts to comply with Federal, State, and local environmental requirements. The MRTFB are test and evaluation facilities that provide for Department of Defense test and evaluation support missions. These missions include: Weapons system testing, military operational squadron training on new weapon systems, and validation of performance or operational characteristics.
