Light Anti-Tank Weapon Rocket Motor Insensitive Munitions (LAW RM IM) Improvement (Navy)
Abstract
Test a fully Insensitive Munitions (IM) compliant Light Anti-Tank Weapon (LAW) system to increase the overall safety and reduce the severe logistical burden associated with storage and transportation of non-IM compliant munitions. The primary outputs are improved safety for system operator/handler, minimized opportunities for accidental rocket motor initiation, and reduced burden of transporting non-IM compliant munitions.
