Acquisition Visibility
Abstract
Acquisition Visibility delivers authoritative, reliable acquisition data to Congress and the Department to enable statutory reporting, executive decision making, and portfolio insight on almost $2 trillion in lifecycle funding across ~100 ACAT I, ~2,500 Acquisition Category (ACAT) II, III, and IV programs, National Command, Control, and Communications covered programs, and approximately 75 Middle Tier of Acquisition (MTA) programs. The $1.157 million total program increase in FY 2022 supports: 1) costs associated with the accelerated development and deployment of DAVE to facilitate the retirement of legacy capabilities; 2) the expanded development of AV Capabilities to support the acquisition data requirements of multiple Acquisition Pathways of the Adaptive Acquisition Framework; and 3) support the acquisition data requirements of FY 2021 NDAA Section 836.
