Aviation Survivability

Abstract

Aviation Survivability addresses the issues of aircrew and platform survivability, focusing on enhancing overall opportunity for aircrew and platform protection and enhanced performance. The capabilities addressed under this program element counter emerging threats of next generation operational weapons systems and enhance combat effectiveness in future operational mission scenarios. This PE includes $.030 million for the Acquisition Workforce in FY 2009.
