(U)Remote Minehunting System (RMS)

Abstract

The AN/WLD-1(V) 2 Remote Minehunting System (RMS) was a mine reconnaissance system designed for the detection, classification, identification, and localization of bottom and moored mines in shallow and deep water. As a result of the Department's Independent Review Team (IRT)the RMS program of record was cancelled.
