(U)Executive Helo Development
Abstract
The VH-92A is the replacement helicopter for the VH-3D and the VH-60N, the aircraft currently used by Marine Helicopter Squadron One (HMX-1) to transport the President, Vice President, and other distinguished officials as directed by the White House Military Office. The VH-3D and VH-60N are approaching the end of their service lives. Funding for the VH-92A program supports Engineering and Manufacturing Development Phase activities, including: integration of systems; production, qualification, and support of test articles; development of logistics products; and demonstration of system integration, interoperability, safety, and utility.

The Contractor Logistics Support completion and commencement of Interim Contractor Support has moved from 2Q FY 2021 to 1Q FY 2021 to align with the completion of the EMD contract. 3. To better align with Milestone C and contract delivery dates, Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) Lot 1 contract award moved from 3Q FY 2019 to 2Q FY 2019 and LRIP Lot 1 delivery schedule moved from 2Q FY 2021 to 3Q FY 2021. 4. Engineering Development Model (EDM) 2 aircraft delivery shifted from 4Q FY 2018 to 1Q FY 2019 and commencement of SDTA deliveries shifted from 1Q FY 2019 to 2Q FY 2019 to align with contract delivery dates. 5. Initial Operational Test and Evaluation (IOT&E) commencement shifted right two months within 1Q FY 2020 from October to December due to align with SDTA aircraft deliveries. 6. LFT&E Report shifted from 4Q FY 2020 to 1Q FY 2021 commensurate with completion of LFT&E in 4Q FY 2018. 7. IOT&E Report completion shifted from 3Q FY 2020 to 4Q FY 2020 to align with the revised completion timeframe of IOT&E. Systems Engineering: Not applicable. Logistics: Not applicable.
