Spectrum Situational Awareness System (S2AS)

Abstract

Spectrum Situational Awareness System (S2AS) is a dedicated Electro-Magnetic Spectrum (EMS) situational awareness system that provides the Commander with real time EMS Situational Awareness to support Emissions Control (EMCON) decisions, Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Resolution, and detect/warn operations centers of unauthorized or intentional sources of interference on today's complex battlefield. In Fiscal Year (FY) 2025, $9.330 million of RDT&E will be used for integration, testing, and technical and program management support of the S2AS program.
