Joint Production Accelerator Cell (JPAC)

Abstract

This Program Element supports building a resilient Joint Force, robust Defense Ecosystem, and Enduring Advantages by enabling the Joint Production Accelerator Cell (JPAC) to assess and analyze opportunities to enhance the defense industrial base’s production capacity, resilience, and surge capability for key weapon systems and supplies. This Program Element will also support the drive to modernize and strengthen our military and invest in our national power to maintain a competitive edge. The analysis and assessment of flexible and scalable manufacturing approaches will further enable USD(A&S) to advance innovative processes, drive scaled production to meet 21st century Warfighter needs, and improve the responsiveness of the defense industrial base to DoD demand.
