Small Diameter Bomb II Integration

Abstract

The F/A-18E/F Super Hornet is an objective platform for employment of the Small Diameter Bomb II (SDB II) and the Joint Miniature Munitions Bomb Rack Unit (JMM BRU). This program funds the hardware and software design, development, integration and testing required to successfully integrate SDB II/JMM BRU on the F/A-18E/F. SDB II is being developed by the USAF (Air Force is funding LRIPs 1, 2 and 3 with options for Navy procurements). Navy RDT&E funding will be applied to LRIP 4 for a quantity of 90 to support final testing events.
