Rapid Biometric for Physical Access Control

Abstract

This project developed a prototype device to identify individuals in a moving vehicle using facial recognition technology. The technology leverages a series of cameras for face finding and capture of high quality images for matching against a database of enrolled individuals. The system is able to correct for blur, pose and illumination issues of a moving vehicle in an outdoor environment.
