Electronic Components and Materials Research

Abstract

Investigate, and evaluate compact, high-efficiency, high-temperature, high-power component technologies (such as semiconductor, magnetic, and dielectric devices) for hybrid-electric propulsion, electric power generation and conversion, and smart/micro-grid power distribution. Research addresses current and future Army-unique performance and operational requirements. In FY13-14, this efforts supports Technology Enabled Capability Demonstration 4a, [Sustainability/Logistics-Basing Operational & Organizational Concept & Plan].
