TACTICAL OPERATIONS SUPPORT

Abstract

The Tactical Operations Support subgroup mission is to identify, prioritize, and execute rapid research and development projects that enhance the capabilities of DoD and Interagency special operations tactical teams engaged in finding, fixing, and finishing terrorists. This includes support to state and local law enforcement agencies to combat domestic terrorism. The development focus is enabling small units of dominance by providing state of the art overmatch capacities in: Communication Systems; Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition, and Reconnaissance Systems (ISTARS); Offensive Systems; Specialized Access Systems; Survivability Systems; Unconventional Warfare /Counter-Insurgency.
