HLD AESA Radars (JUON)

Abstract

This effort is a USNORTHCOM Joint Urgent Operational Need (JUON) for F-16 active electronically scanned array (AESA) radars. It provides an upgrade from the current APG-68 system to an AESA radar that offers advanced electronic protection capabilities as well as improved reliability and maintainability to support the Aerospace Control Alert (ACA) mission for Homeland Defense (HLD).
