High performance nonlinear optical chromophores

Abstract

Both the linear and nonlinear optical properties of our newly designed high temperature electrooptic chromophores are discussed. In addition to the charge separated mechanism for the new chromophores, isomer effects are equally important in determining the optical properties of the new class.
