Surface functionalized manganese ferrite nanocrystals for enhanced uranium sorption and separation in water

Abstract

Optimized engineered manganese ferrite (MnFe2O4) nanocrystals, stabilized by tailorable organic acid bilayer structures, demonstrate ultra enhanced uranyl sorption capacities under environmental relevant aqueous conditions.
