Manipulation of optical field distribution in ITO-free micro-cavity polymer tandem solar cells via the out-of-cell capping layer for high photovoltaic performance

Abstract

An ITO-free top-illuminated microcavity tandem solar is fabricated with a ultra-thin Ag top electrode, which shows enhanced light trapping and tunable optical distribution inside device via the out-of-cell capping layer.
