Experimental determination of single molecule toroic behaviour in a Dy8 single molecule magnet

Abstract

Multi-orientation single-crystal magnetisation measurements unpick the spin structure of Dy8, identifying a canted antiferrotoroidic tetramer ground-state with slow magnetic relaxation.
