Mono-N-oxidation of heterocycle-fused pyrimidines

Abstract

Mild oxidation reactions of nitrogen-rich heterocyclic rings lead to the formation of energetic compounds with the mono-N-oxide moiety which show good thermal stabilities and detonation performances.
