Synthesis of functional 1,2-dithiolanes from 1,3-bis-tert-butyl thioethers
Abstract
We report the one-step synthesis of diversely substituted functional 1,2-dithiolanes by reacting readily accessible 1,3-bis-tert-butyl thioethers with bromine.
