Abstract

Schematic diagram of virucidal properties of haloperoxidase (HPO)-mimicking CeO2−x nanorods. CeO2−x nanorods catalysed the oxidative bromination of Br− and H2O2 to HOBr, which works as an antiseptic to kill viruses.
