Spin-polarization anisotropy controlled by bending in tungsten diselenide nanoribbons and tunable excitonic states

Abstract

Bending induces the spatial variation of the spin-polarization and the modulation of the spin configuration in the exciton states in the WSe2 nanoribbons, applicable for controlled spintronics and optoelectronics.
