Improved quantum yield in geometrically constrained tetraphenylethylene-based metal–organic frameworks

Abstract

Linker rigidification via incorporation into two new MOF materials results in a 2.5× increase in quantum yield compared to the linker alone. Furthermore, optical properties of the resulting materials are displaying solvatochromatic effects.
