Superconductivity in functionalized niobium-carbide MXenes

Abstract

We reveal the effects of Cl and S functionalization on the superconducting properties of niobium carbide (Nb2C) MXene crystals in bulk-layered and monolayer form, based on first-principles calculations combined with Eliashberg theory.
