Selective destabilization of polypeptides synthesized from NMD-targeted transcripts
Abstract
Polypeptides synthesized from mRNAs containing a premature termination codon are selectively destabilized compared with the same polypeptide sequences synthesized from mRNAs with a normal termination codon in mammalian cells.
