Joint Multi-Mission Submersible

Abstract

NOTE: This program element was terminated in FY 2012 due to reprioritization of Underwater Systems capabilities. The Joint Multi-Mission Submersible (JMMS) program element was established to fulfill the requirement for a manned, dry combatant submersible to provide a clandestine mobility platform. However, the JMMS program was terminated by the Department on July 30, 2010.
