Cursor on Target (CoT)

Abstract

Cursor on Target (CoT) is an extensible, 'What, When, Where' (W3) XML message format for interconnecting Command, Control, Communication and Computer (C4), Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems. The CoT suite consists of the W3 base schema, 14 tailored sub-schema, and a set of 10 software plug-ins and translators that facilitate Machine-to-Machine (M2M) transmission of Command and Control (C2), ISR, and situational awareness data at reduced cost compared with traditional integration methods.
