Combat Critical Care Engineering
Abstract
This effort supports development of diagnostic and therapeutic medical devices, algorithms, software, and data- processing systems for resuscitation, stabilization and life support, and development of improved critical care nursing practices. The aim is to improve care of severely injured or ill casualties during transport and in theater hospitals, and to develop and evaluate technologies to treat vital organ failure caused by traumatic injury.
