Non-Traditional Acoustic Communications (NTAC)
Abstract
Non-Traditional Acoustic Communications (NTAC) is a software based solution that leverages existing hardware components on target platforms, including submarines. The NTAC program is responsible for establishing formal program requirements, support installation of NTAC software on various platforms, and upgrade the software to support new hardware to improve NTAC performance. The new software capability at an unclassified level is referred to as NTAC software delivery package. Additional details are available at the classified level.
