Test and Evaluation
Abstract
Handheld's Test and Evaluation focuses on the evaluation of key technical and operational characteristics of the system: Radio Frequency performance, security, Reliability, Availability & Maintainability, and survivability requirements, in addition to operational environmental performance requirements as per the Capability Production Document. All previous testing on the Leader Radio, served as risk reduction and Operational Test (OT) preparations in support of FRP. Results from the OT facilitated future procurement for Full Rate Production and informed required delta testing. HMS funding supports delta testing, Performance Verification Tests (PVTs), and Operational User Assessments (OUAs).
