Abstract

This effort develops passive protection structural hardening designs and solutions against emerging large-caliber advanced weapons; investigates and validates computational models for predicting residual protective capacity for multi-hit threat scenarios; and develops micro-mechanics-based models and material solutions matured by conducting high-rate experiments.
