Extended Range Projectile Technology
Abstract
This effort develops various methods of low cost extended range technologies for mortar and artillery applications. Projectile lift and surface control technologies will be investigated for survivability and functionality through component level research and modeling and simulation. The Warfighter will be able to use these technologies coupled with handheld devices to engage Beyond Line-of-Sight (BLOS) targets and guide the projectile in flight.
