6) Techbase Non-Med NTA
Abstract
Modeling & Simulation NTA: Provide modeling of NTA materials for hazard prediction. Develop NTA source term algorithms for predicting CBRN hazards from intentionally functioning weapons, counter-proliferation scenarios (bomb on target), and missile intercept. "Intentionally Functioning Weapons" refers to the case where a missile has released its chemical or biological payload as it was designed, rather than where the release was caused by our missile interdiction. Investigate NTA agent fate for secondary effects, environmental/atmospheric chemistry, atmospheric and waterborne transport and dispersion, human effects, model Validation and Verification (V&V), scaled testing, casualty estimation, and supporting data management.
