Test and Evaluation
Abstract
Manpack's Test and Evaluation focuses on the key technical and operational characteristics of the system: Radio Frequency performance, security, Reliability, Availability & Maintainability, suitability and survivability requirements, in addition to operational environmental performance requirements as per the Capability Production Document. Results from OT will facilitate the delivery orders for Full Rate Production and inform any required delta testing. HMS funding supports delta testing and Performance Verification Tests (PVTs). HMS also supports ITN's iterative evaluation and capability implementation strategy. HMS System of Systems product qualification testing (SoS PQT) included interoperability with the ITN evaluating and demonstrating the efficacy of the ITN Variable Height Antenna (VHA) and Tactical Radio Integration Kit (TRIK) components in expansion of HMS radio range and function.
