Disruptive Energetics and Propulsion Technologies (formerly Energetic Materials)

Abstract

This effort investigates, evaluates, selects, and models propulsion and energetic materials and technologies to validate novel energetic materials concepts (such as nano-structural and insensitive) that exploit managed energy release required for improving the effectiveness and reducing the vulnerability of future gun/missile systems and warheads.
