Cold-Weather All-Terrain Vehicle (Army)

Abstract

This project comparatively tests off-the-shelf cold weather capable tracked vehicles with enhanced off-road mobility. This accelerates the fielding of a replacement for an obsolete system and enables logistics support in austere conditions. If successful, this technology will transition to the Army's Program Executive Office for Combat Support and Combat Service Support for follow-on procurement and fielding through an Other Transaction Agreement. Test articles received and initial testing completed in FY 2022. This project continues in FY 2023 with FY 2022 funding. Complete first article and production testing in 1Q to 3Q FY 2023. Complete final test and closeout reports in 4Q FY 2023.
