Digital Dual Use Sensors (DDUS)

Abstract

This program will develop the core camera technology for a multi-spectral, multi-mode distributed aperture pilotage system while supporting aircraft survivability. This synergistic single sensor technology will support aircraft survivability by providing hostile fire and missile warning cues while simultaneously providing pilotage and situational understanding in degraded visual environments. It leverages technology from the Dual Band Infrared Focal Plane Arrays (IRFPA) ManTech as well as from the 3D DROIC Science and Technology Objective (STO) to fabricate the digital multi-function readout circuit to enable the multi-function capability.
