Suicide Prevention/Mitigation

Abstract

This effort conducts research to better understand the apparent increase in suicide deaths and nonfatal attempts among active duty Soldiers, as well as identify improved prevention/intervention methods for individuals at risk for suicide based on data-driven recommendations. The efforts will be used to decrease suicide rates in both military populations as well as in the general public.
