Unmanned Underwater Vehicle

Abstract

The November 2004 UUV Master Plan established Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), and clandestine Mine Countermeasures (MCM) as top priorities. The Mission Reconfigurable Unmanned Undersea Vehicle System (MRUUVS) will provide these capabilities to the warfighter. The MRUUVS Capability Development Document (CDD) was approved by the Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC) in June 2007.
