Rapid Rigging and DeRigging Airdrop System (RRDAS)
Abstract
Reduces rigging times while also providing the capability to rapidly de-rig loads on the drop zone. This will reduce the lead time to prepare Low Velocity Airdrop Load (LVADS) loads while also increasing the survivability of receiving ground forces by ensuring the airdrop loads (to include weapon systems, prime movers, trailers, etc.) are quickly de-rigged and made operational.
