Bacterial Threats
Abstract
This effort selects promising candidate vaccines against each of the three main bacterial causes of diarrhea (E. coli, Campylobacter, and Shigella; a significant threat during initial deployments), and meningococcal vaccine candidates (a threat to trainees, deployed troops, and military families) for testing in human subjects. Data packages are prepared, as required for FDA approval, and testing is conducted in human subjects.
