Laser Vision/3-D Ladar
Abstract
Laser Vision, a family of electro-optical (EO) systems that significantly increase ID ranges. Provide the demonstration and evaluation data necessary to support decisions on future EO technologies supporting CID, including 3-D (3-dimensional) imaging laser radar (Ladar) and exploration of advanced concepts. The 3-D ladar technology provides a display of a 3-D EO image to the pilot for high confidence combat identification and is a potential for the next generation targeting pods for the USAF.
