M82 Simulant Smoke Practice Grenade
Abstract
The M82 encountered performance issues during the last production as a result of the less than optimal design for the base. Developing a new base design that minimizes any leak paths and facilitates the metal clip contact surface with the launcher will greatly improve the producibility and reliability of the grenade. This effort consists of the development and prove out of the base design.
