Strained Layer Superlattices (SLS) Technology

Abstract

This effort investigates and improves the recent advances in III-V material thin film crystal growth of infrared focal plane arrays (IR FPAs) using a very flexible Strained Layer Superlattice (SLS) structure which allows multiband IR FPAs to be produced at much lower costs with improved uniformity.
