Abstract
The Trusted Software program addressed DoD demands for reliable and robust software using technology to diagnose software for inefficiencies, design errors, redundant code, and overall software inconsistencies. Current software projects are massive, dynamic social efforts involving distributed teams of developers, marketers, and users. Without the proper tools, the software engineers create errors and redundancies providing unintended and exploitable security flaws. This program developed specific techniques for building and validating trustworthy software.
