Vessel Operations and Support
Abstract
Vessel Operations and Support provides for sustainment of the SBX vessel for full operations. This effort maintains annual surveys and U.S. Coast Guard Certifications to ensure readiness for operational contingencies, provides for resupply of SBX, and conducts in port and underway maintenance. The SBX participates in MDS ground tests and flight tests per the Integrated Master Test Plan (IMTP). This effort also provides force protection for SBX, maintenance repair, air charter transportation, supply vessel charters, and Variable Speed Drive (VSD) upgrades.
